Donna Kirkendoll, 68

Donna Jean Kirkendoll, 68, of Nokomis died at 1:28 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Rick Miles officiating.

Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery in Maroa.

Mrs. Kirkendoll was born in Decatur on July 28, 1944, the daughter of the late Roy and Lano (Kaultenbach) Bates. She married Orville Kirkendoll in Toledo on Oct. 19, 1977, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Kirkendoll is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (husband Jake) McCauley of Pana; sons, Phillip (wife Katie) Kirkendoll of Taylorville, Glenn (wife Nina) Kirkendoll of Wisconsin, Tommy Atteberry of Decatur, Donny Atteberry of Donnellson and Dennis Atteberry of Langleyville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Roy Bates, and an infant sister.
