Doris Ingles

Mrs. Doris Ingles, 71, of Sorento, IL passed away at home on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 8:48 AM.

Mrs. Ingles was born in Peirron, IL January 25, 1941 one of 5 children of Frank and Ruby (Cruthis) Reidelberger. She married Cillord "Chip" Ingles in Sorento, IL June 4, 1966 and they had three children.

Mrs. Ingles was a member of Reno Baptist Church, Reno, IL, the Order of the Eastern Star and the V.F. W. Ladies Auxiliary both of Sorento, IL. She formerly worked at the Roller Derby, and the Glass Factory. She served as a Democratic Precinct Committeeman in Shoal Creek #3 and also as the Shoal Creek Tax Assessor. She later worked as a dispatcher for the Bond County Police Department, and also worked in the Sesser, Sparta and Coffeen Coal Mines.

Surviving are 1 son Randy "Kevin" Ingles of Sorento, IL 2 daughters Kimberly Renea and her husband Brian (Ingles) Burlison of Sorento, IL., and Karen D. Ingles of Greenville, IL, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a brother Michael Reidelberger of Sorento, IL., a sister Mary Ann White of Litchfield, IL along with several nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ruby Reidelberger and her husband Clifford "Chip" Ingles on November 15, 1990.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2012 at Reno Baptist Church, Reno, IL. Visitation will be held there for 1 hour before the service. Pastor Bob Carter and Pastor Lin Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery Sorento, IL. Memorials may be made to the family.
