Doris L. Titsworth

Doris L. Titsworth, 88, of Harvel, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 29, 2022, surrounded by family.

Doris was born on September 16, 1934, in Alton, the daughter of Daniel B. and Zelma (McMonical) Sebastian.  She married Jack L. Titsworth on January 17, 1951, in Carrollton.  He preceded her in death on January 14, 1996.  Doris was also preceded in death by her three brothers and two sisters.

Doris is survived by her six children, Mary Law of Raymond, Jim (Pat) Titsworth of Litchfield, Janet (Dennis) Diesselhorst of Litchfield, Daniel Titsworth of Sanford, NC, Thomas Titsworth of Witt, and Julie (Jr.) Thunhorst of Harvel; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Doris was a hard worker and operated an upholstery business for over 50 years, where she provided a wide array of services to the surrounding communities.  She was caring, and she especially enjoyed cooking and baking for others.

Doris will be cremated, and no public services will be held.
