  1. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Gramma D through my job- we quickly became friends. She had a heart of gold and had known some of my family (Longdens) in her younger days. She and I shared a birthday. She sent several letters and many phones calls and brightened my day each time I heard her voice. I am so sad to see this news but I know she was at peace and ready to be in heaven. I wanted you all to know she was a very bright light for many people in Taylorville and made each of us better by knowing her. My deepest condolences. God bless Krystal Longden Baker

  2. I will miss my phone calls and visits from one of the nicest ladies I ever met. Dorothy called on Sunday and as always we talked about everything. She is back with her Frank now whom she loved beyond words. I was his home care registered nurse clear to the end. Loved them both. I will miss you. RIP my friend. Georgia Culumber
