Dwight M. Micnhimer

Dwight M. Micnhimer, 90 of Litchfield passed away at 12:20 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

He was born on September 17, 1925 at Sorento the son of Dwight B. and Mable B. (Finke) Micnhimer. He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter, Ame Lynn DeLeo; Brothers, Delbert and Vallee Micnhimer; Sisters, Louise Jarman, Phyllis Mast, Frances Brewer and Janice Hill.

Dwight worked for Auto Releasing, Inc. of Belvidere, IL, retiring in October 1987. He was a Marine Corp veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of Panama VFW Post 6628, Sorento American Legion Post 713 and Disabled American Veterans Commander Club. He attended Panama United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: Son, Thomas Micnhimer of Pflugerville, TX; Daughter, Pamela Kruse of Tucson, AZ; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Pastor Adam Penn officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Reno. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
