Edna M. McGuire

Edna M. McGuire, age 78, of Greenville passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at 1 PM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call Friday, November 25, 2016 after 11 AM at Young Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Bond County Humane Society.

Edna was born November 18, 1938 in Woburn, Illinois to Dale and Jewel (Vincent) Durr. She married Glen McGuire on November 18, 1972 in Smithboro, IL. She is survived by her husband Glen McGuire of Greenville, her children Margaret Strubberg of Greenville, Robert Etcheson, Jr., of Greenville, Bonnie Etcheson of Greenville, Connie Etcheson of Greenville, Gwendolyn McGuire of Greenville, and Shannon McGuire of Greenville, her step-brother Mike Vincent of Smithboro, IL, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and on great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Bourgeois, a grand daughter Kristen Unterbrink, and a brother Harold Durr.

She grew up in the Woburn area and lived in Greenville most of her life. She was a member of The Greenville First Christian Church.
