Elizabeth J. Ware

Elizabeth J. Ware, 92, of Taylorville, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 8:50 a.m. at Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Taylorville. She was born 2-14-1915 in Decatur, Ill., the daughter of William C. and Myrtle McAllister Ferguson. She retired from Taylorville Community Credit Union and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Taylorville and the Monday Morning Bible Study. 

Survivors include sons: Willard E. (Eleanor) Woodward, Champaign, Ill., and Robert W. (Linda) Woodward of Taylorville. Son-in-law Bennie H. Hill, Salinas, CA. Grandchildren: Mary B. (Russ) Niles, Ottawa, II., Bradley D. Woodward, Griffith, Ind., Jennifer (Brett) Weber, Bloomington, II., Dr. Robert T. Woodward, Champaign, II., Scott W. (Rachelle) Woodward, Taylorville., Andrew (Lisa) Hill, Dixon, CA., Christina (Russ) Coillot, Sacramento, Ca., Christopher (Danielle) Hill, Rancho Santa Marquarita, Ca. Sister-in-law : Laverne (Sonny) Bertucci, Taylorville, Brother-in-law: Bernard (Jennie) Woodward, Sun City, Az. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Delmar Willard Woodward and Francis Ware., daughter, Judith E. Hill, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 nephews, 2 sister-in-laws, mother-in-law, and father-in-law. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 10:00 - 11 :00 A.m. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville. Funeral will be on Thursday, December 27 at 11 :00 A.M. at Shafer Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sward officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, Illinois
