Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Lillian Pounds Warren, 84, of Taylorville, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, at her daughter's home.. She was born Aug. 29, 1925, at Ishpeming, Mich., the daughter of Albert and Bertha McQuiggan.. She married Roy Pounds. He preceded her in death. She then married Dale Warren, who also preceded her in death along with her parents; son, Doug Pounds; daughters, Nancy Kevie, Diana Winchester and Louverda Marcus; grandson, Thomas Pounds; and great-granddaughter, Nicci Johnson.. Elizabeth was a CNA, working at area nursing homes. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Eagles Club 1425, Red Hats and loved playing cards, bingo and her family.. Survivors, sons, Richard (wife, Hilda) Pounds of Taylorville and Joe (wife, Amie) Pounds of Danville; daughters, Kristine Colclasure of Grand Island, Neb., and Mona (husband, Terry) Ream of Taylorville; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home, with Rev. Eric Ream officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. John's Hospice.. Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
