Eloise Marie O'Connell

Eloise Marie O'Connell, 77 of Morrisonville passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 at 12:25 PM at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. 

She was born June 3, 1931 at Decatur the daughter of Albert and Agnes (Myer) Scholz. She married William R. O'Connell Sr. on August 30, 1952 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband of over 50 years; Infant Son, Daniel M. O'Connell; Brother, James Scholz. 

Mrs. O'Connell was employed by Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home for several years before going to work for St. Mary's Hospital where she was employed until her retirement. She was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church. 

Survivors: Sons, William R. (wife, Catherine) O'Connell of Morrisonville, IL, Brian D. (wife, Terri) O'Connell of Atlanta, GA and Patrick G. (wife, Caroline) O'Connell of Des Moines, IA; 16 Grandchildren; Sister in Law, Betty Pauls of Decatur, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Visitation will be held Monday, June 30 from Noon-1:00 PM at St. Maurice Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 30 at 1:00 PM at St. Maurice Catholic Church with the Rev. Chris J. Comerford officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery. 

In memory of Eloise memorials may be made to the Morrisonville Community Ambulance 

Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
