Elsie Marie Fenton

Elsie Marie Fenton, 98, of Litchfield passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at 12:50 AM at Litchfield Healthcare.

She was born November 18, 1908 in Walshville Township the daughter of George and Mary Alice (Kitchen) Hemken. She married Willard Fenton in 1928 at Walshville, he preceded her in death. She then married George Fenton in 1983 at Litchfield; he also preceded her in death. Her parents and several brother and sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fenton had been employed at Roller Derby in Litchfield.

Survivors: Step Son, Norman Fenton of Hamburg, IL; Step Daughter, Delores Mount of Granite city, IL; sisters, Opal Fenton of Litchfield, IL and Louise Compton of Litchfield, IL; Many loving grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 1 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2 at Perfetti Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
