Elvin "Boot" Udell Ingles

Elvin Udell "Boot" Ingles, 73, of Sorento passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at 9:47 AM at his home.

He was bornin Sorento on February 20, 1934 the son of the late Harry and Rosie Ann (Pollard) Ingles. He married Lynn Eberhardt on June 11, 1974 at Sorento. Preceding him in death were 3 brother, Clifford, Frances and Cecil Ingles; 2 sisters, Dorothy Enloe and Goldie Saathoff.

Before his retirement Mr. Ingles was a brass worker for the Olin Corporation in Alton. He was a member of the American Miniature Horse Association.

Survivors: wife, Lynn Ingles of Sorento, IL; brothers, Dean Ingles of Sorento, IL; Donald Ingles of Pekin, IL and Shirley Ingles of Florida; sisters, Lora Varner of Litchfield, IL, Opal Varner of Sorento, IL and Irma Cress of Hillsboro, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3 at 11:00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Hahs officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.

In memory of Mr. Ingles memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
