  1. Sending condolences to Eric’s family and friends across America. I was fortunate to meet Eric Bost in Moriarty, New Mexico where I also went to work the crops with my children. Eric stood out with his 7Up instead of beer, his classic black only Harley Davidson and his storytelling talent. I was lucky to spend a lot of time with him at the motorcycle shop where he could bring “Junie” or whichever bike he was riding right inside and sleep near her with a warm fire in the wood stove. My kids called him “Uncle Eric” and stayed with him if I needed a trustworthy sitter .. he was perturbed when they beat him at poker for pennies. What an incredible man! A proud American, a hardworking son to Marvin and June Bost, an associate of the original Hell’s Angels, a prolific songwriter, a devastated sibling when his brother did not return from Vietnam. a proud father to Gretchen and an amazing grandfather to John and too many other things to list here. I met Eric’s parents when they arrived for a visit … and I got to see the dignity and love of the Bost Family. Eric will be sorely missed.

  2. My family condolences to the Bost family. I had the pleasure of attending school with Eric and listening to the hilarious stories he would tell during speech classes. R.I.P. keep them laughing.
