Evelyn F. Aufrecht

Evelyn Fay Aufrecht, 102 of Taylorville passed away at 4:55 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville.

She was born on November 13, 1911 at Taylorville the daughter of John H. and Anna (Basil) West. She married Carl L. Aufrecht on February 20, 1944 at Taylorville; he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; Great grandson, Justin Smith; 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Church of the Nazarene in Taylorville.

Survivors include: Daughter, Carol (husband, John) Kohl of Taylorville, IL; Son, Carl David (wife, Judy) Aufrecht of Spring Hill, FL; 4 Grandchildren; 7 Great grandchildren; 4 Great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville with Don Tewell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
