Evelyn T. Bost

Evelyn T. Bost, 96 of Taylorville passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at 8:05 PM at Meadow Manor in Taylorville.

She was born on September 25, 1915 in Harrisburg, Illinois the daughter of Bert and Emma (Kielhorn) Tavendar. She married Paul Bost; he preceded her in death along with her parents, 2 sisters, Virginia Fullerton and Edna Mae Tavendar, 3 brothers, Charles, Norman and Bert Tavendar. 

Evelyn was a homemaker. She owned and operated Bost Variety in Morrisonville for several years and had a brief career in real estate. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville, Civic Janes and Morrisonville Historical Society.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held on Thursday March 29 with Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.
