Faye Virginia Walquist, 90, of Morrisonville passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at 4:28 AM at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Faye was born on September 28, 1916 near New City, IL the daughter of Vernon and Allie (Hunt) Maltby. She married Theodore “Junior” Walquist on June 5, 1940 at Troy, Missouri; he preceded her in death on April 5, 1998, after nearly 58 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Sisters, Edna Mae Williams and Dorothy Hennessey; Great Grandson, Isaac.
Faye was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Morrisonville.
Survivors include: 3 Sons, Thomas (wife, Shiryl) Walquist and Howard (wife, Carolyn) Walquist both of Belknap, IL and Lynn (wife, Brenda) Walquist of Karnak, IL; I Daughter, Diana (husband, William) Fowler of Owaneco, IL; 9 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; I Brother, Vernon Maltby of Pawnee, IL; I Sister, Ruth Imogene Jones of Pawnee, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 19 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19 at 1:00 PM at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Horne with the Rev. Chad Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Morrisonville.
Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
