Florence V. Fuchs

Florence Viola Fuchs, 88 of Taylorville, formerly of Morrisonville and Farmersville passed away at 8:37 AM on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Taylorville Care Center.

She was born on July 16, 1926 at Benson, MN the daughter of Peter C. and Lena P. (Sperre) Anderson. She married Robert E. Fuchs on December 22, 1946 at Benson, MN; he preceded her in death on May 18, 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents; Sister, Lorraine "Lolly" Fritz; 8 Brothers and Son in law, Donald Deal.

Florence was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated the coin laundry in Morrisonville for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville, Eagles Club 1425 and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors: Daughter, Judy Deal of Taylorville, IL; Sons, Robert (Beth) Fuchs of Morrisonville, IL and Richard (Michelle) Fuchs of O'Fallon, IL; Foster Daughter, Tonya Purnell of Springfield, IL; 4 Grandchildren, Wendy Fleming, Brent Deal, Ben Fuchs and Maggie Leonard; 8 Great Grandchildren, Kiley, Braden and Kourtni Fleming, Alex, Wesley and Piper Fuchs, Brooke Deal and Tommy Leonard.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville with Pastor Rodney Blomquist officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at a later date at St. Pauli Cemetery, Swift Falls, MN.
