Floyd F. Thacker

Floyd F. Thacker, 68 of Sorento passed away at 5:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at his home.

He was born on June 16, 1947 at Litchfield the son of Harold and Carrie Dolores (Bone) Thacker. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Thacker.

Floyd worked in maintenance and as a welder at Granite Steel before his retirement. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6628.

Survivors include: Companion, Virginia Bresnahan of Sorento, IL; Daughter, Stephanie (husband, Aaron) Prigmore of Greenville, IL; Grandchildren, Tanner and Taylor; Brother, David (wife, Joyce) Thacker of Sorento, IL; Several Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento.
