Gail Ann Colonius

Gail Ann Colonius, 50 of Petersburg formerly of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home. 

She was born on August 23, 1962 at Taylorville the daughter of Harold A. and Jean M. (Miller) Colonius. Her parents preceded her in death.

Early in her career Gail spent several years working as a CNA. Later in life she worked as an over the road truck driver. She has liveed most of her life in the surrounding area. She was a 1980 graduate of Taylorville High School and a Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville. Gail enjoyed long walks, fishing, music and playing her guitar.

Survivors include: Brothers, Donald E. Colonius of Deltona, FL and Chuck A. Colonius of Taylorville IL; Sisters, Sherrie L. Colonius Oehlert of Kenosha, WI and Norma J. Ferrell of Petersburg, IL; 8 nieces and 3 nephews, DJ, Jaclyn, Jodi, Krystle, Stephanie, Paul, Stephen, Jessica, Lindsay, Madeline and Hannah; 11 great nieces and nephews.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
