Garry Eugene Wall

Garry Eugene Wall , 65 of Sorento passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 5:45 PM at St. Louis University Hospital. 

He was born April 4, 1943 in Sorento the son of Albert Wilson and ·Minnie Loretta (McGibany) Wall. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece, Marlene Chambless. 

Garry was a union machinist for McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, retiring after 44 years of service. He also farmed and was a member of the Bond County Farm Bureau and International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 837A. 

Survivors: Daughters, Sherry (John) Galvan of Lockport, IL and Shelly (Jim) Wilhite of Sorento, IL; Son, Michael (companion, Melony) Wall of Sorento, IL; Grandchildren, Lorelei Wilhite and Connor Druhe; Mother, Letty Wall of Sorento, IL; Sisters, Charlene Perfetti of Hillsboro, IL, Erlene Rau of Panama, IL and Maxine (Jerry) Milanos of Hillsboro, IL; Former wife, Jan Griffiths of Sorento, IL: Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 11 at 11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento, with the Rev. Norman Fenton officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery. In memory of Garry memorials may be made to the Shoal Creek Fire Protection District. 

Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento was in charge of arrangements.
