Garry Z. "Stretch" Miller, 63, of Sorento, IL passed away Friday, December 10, 2004 at 1:15 A.M. at Greenville Regional Hospital. 

He was born on December 2, 1941 in Hillsboro, IL the son of Henry and Ruth Z. (Zimmerman) Miller. He married Joyce J. Daily on January 4, 1964 at the Sorento Presbyterian Church. Preceding him in death was his parents and infant son, Mark Steven Miller. 

Mr. Miller was a professional truck driver for Riechmann Transport, Inc. He was a member of Sorento Masonic Lodge 861, Panama VFW Post 6628, Kessinger American Legion Post 713 and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. 

Survivors: Wife, Joyce J. Miller of Sorento, IL; Daughters, Sherrie (husband, Jerry) Tomes and Cheryl Barnhart both of Greenville, IL; Granddaughter, Brooke Barnhart of Greenville, IL; Sister, Jocelyn (husband, Jim) Nesbit of Greenville, IL; 2 Nieces, 1 Nephew, 3 Great Nieces and 3 Great Nephews. 

Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 12 at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Masonic rites will be held Sunday at 5:45 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 13 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento, with Revs. Elmer L. Fenton and Darryl Bolen officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery where Bond County Memorial VFW Post 1377 will conduct military honors. 

Memorials may made to Bond County Hospice, Sorento Masonic Lodge or to the Miller family.
