George Leo Redfearn, 73, of Panama, IL passed away Saturday, July 17, 2004 at his home. 

He was born October 9, 1930 in Taylor Springs, IL the son of lsaac and Nellie (File) Redfearn. He married Burnetta McGill on March 7, 1953 in Greenville, IL. Preceded in death by 4 Brothers and 1 Sister. 

Mr. Redfearn had worked as a coal miner and a construction laborer. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Panama VFW Post #6628, Labor Local #1084 and Donnellson Masonic Lodge #255. 

Survivors: Wife, Burnetta Redfearn of Panama, IL; Sons, Michael, Daniel and George Redfearn all of Panama, IL; Daughter, Diane Essex of Panama, IL; 2 Granddaughters, Melanie and Erica Wells; 1 Great Granddaughter, Macenzie Knox; Brothers, Dan Cress of Cabazon, CA, Bill Cress of Irving, TX and Bob Cress of Hillsboro, IL; Sisters, Gin Crouch of Placerville, CA, Opal Klepper of Wildwood, MO and Rosemary Osborn of Coeur D Alene, ID; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call from 6:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama, with Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento, 

In lieu of flowers memorials to Bond County Hospice.
