Geraldine G. Daughtry

Geraldine G. Daughtry, 92, of Taylorville, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 4:46 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center. She was born November I, 1916 in Raymond, Ill., the daughter of John and Pearl McCraken Welge. She married Lewis Dale Daughtry on March 26, 1937 in Taylorville. He passed away in 1987. 

She enjoyed square dancing, was a cake decorator and loved caring for her family.

Surviving are her son Dale (wife Donna) Daughtry , Taylorville, and daughters Wanda Lou (husband Larry) Oller, Taylorville, and Anna Louise (husband Bob) Ferguson of Owaneco. Grandchildren: Michelle (Todd) Chambers, Taylorville, Larry Dale (Lori) Oller, Addieville, Il, Jeffrey (Ronette) Oller, Waverly Hall, Georgia, Jon (Brenda) Oller, Taylorville, Cinda (Josh) Hutchins, Taylorville, Robert (Candace) Furgeson, Normal, IL, Bill Furgeson, Taylorville, Shannon (Rob) Warford, Elburn, IL Taylorville and several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. Sister: Opal Dixon, Langleyville. 

She was preceded by her husband, parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

Private family service will be held at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery.
