Gertrude M Lambin

Gertrude M. Lambin, 77, of Taylorville died Friday, October 21, 2011 at 2:31 A.M. in Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

She was born on November 10, 1933, in Mt. Auburn, to Edward Davis and Etta Moore Davis. She married Eugene Lambin on June 24, 1964 in Taylorville. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene Lambin of Taylorville; daughter, Pam McCarty of Taylorville; step-daughter, Shelly (Steve) Dennis of Taylorville; grandchildren: John (Joan) Mitsdarffer of Assumption, Heather (Steve) Durbin of Assumption, Jason (Cherish) Bough of Taylorville, and Zac Bough of Taylorville; son-in-law, Steve Mitsdarffer of Assumption; daughter-in-law, Diane (Jeff) Decker of Franklin; several great-grandchildren; and beloved companion, She-She. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Davis; mother, Etta Hurtte; sister, Roberta Ramsey; daughter, Sheila Mitsdarffer; son, Ralph Bough; granddaughter, Katie McCarty; and son-in-law, Roger McCarty.

Services for Gertrude M. Lambin were held on Monday October 24, 2011 at Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville.

Pall bearers were John Mitsdarffer, Jason Bough, Zac Bough, Steve Durbin, Steve Mitsdarffer and Steve Dennis.

Mrs. Lambin passed away on Friday October 21 at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
