Gilbert Clanton

Gilbert Clanton, 82 of Hillsboro passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:55 Am at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

He was born on September 12, 1931 the son of the late Bryan and Lena (Schmidt) Clanton.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Frank, Elvin and Everett Clanton.

Gilbert was a veteran of the Army.

Survivors include: Brother, Bob (wife, Margaret) Clanton of Coffeen, IL; Sister in law, Dorothy Clanton of Coffeen, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be held at Donnellson Cemetery at a later date.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
