Gladys L. Pearson, 90, of Morrisonville passed away Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 2:30 AM at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
She was born on November 29, 1915 in Buckner, IL the daughter of Samuel R. and Opal Smith. She married Ivan M. Pearson on November 20, 1946 at the Morrisonville United Methodist Church Parsonage. Preceding her in death were her parents; 1 Son in infancy; Daughter, Sharon Wilson; Brother, Raleigh Smith and 2 Brothers in infancy; 1 Sister, Helen Redenbow; 1 Step Grandson, Craig Pearson.
Mrs. Pearson was a homemaker. She was also a member of Morrisonville United Methodist Church, Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721 Auxiliary and the Eastern Star.
Survivors: Husband, Ivan M. Pearson of Morrisonville, IL; Son, Terry (wife, Alice) Land of Farmersville, IL; Step Sons, Richard (wife, Karen) Pearson of Beardstown, IL and Lindal (wife, Pauline) Pearson of Kokomo, IN; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren; Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14 at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14 at 11:00 AM at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home, with Rev. David Glahn officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.
