Helen Louise McCario

Helen Louise McCario, 79, of Panama, IL passed away Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 4:40 AM at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.

She was born October 5, 1926 in Bond County, IL the daughter of Howard and Faye (Parmley) Hawk. Preceding her in death were her parents; Husband, Pete McCario; Sons, David L. and John Howard McCario; Daughters, Ramona K. McCario and Saundra J. Voyles; Sisters, Caroline Middleton and Myrna Mastler.

Mrs. McCario was a homemaker.

Survivors: Sons, Joseph E. (wife, Naomi “Sis”) McCario, Eugene P. (wife, Carol) McCario, Donald S. (wife, Cheryl) McCario and Ronald B. McCario all of Panama, IL, Douglas A. (wife, Sharon) McCario of Greenville, IL, Paul E. McCario of Greenville, SC, Michael K. McCario of Fairfield, CA and .Daniel R. McCario of Donnellson, IL; Daughters, Martha F. Schumacher of Panama, IL, Phyllis A. Ruggles, Nancy M. McCario and Lola L. Baum all of Lincoln, IL and Kathy S. (husband, David) Gillis of Brownsville, TX; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; Sisters, Alice Grigg of Lincoln, IL and Lesta Grigg of Coffeen, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 8 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9 at 11 :00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home, with Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Panama.

In memory of Helen L. McCario memorials may be made to Panama United Methodist Church, Union Cemetery or a charity of donor’s choice.
