I am so sorry for the news about your father. I hope You can find some peace in knowing that he is now with your mother.
    Love, Lora & Van

    • Dear Lora, thank you and Van for reaching out. It has been stressful but we are comforted that they are at peace.

  2. Light a CandleWhen I moved to Wisetown area in 1979 I met 2 men that had a great impact on my life. They were Leland “Bud” Wade and “Cork Greer”. Cork would be my neighbor and close friend for over 45 years. He was a wise, honest and hardworking man willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Our properties abutted but there were no boundaries. We worked side by side clearing trees, brush and leaves every fall not quitting to both properties were cleaned up. We talked politics and solved the world’s problems. We were both Cardinal fans and coached many games together often correcting the mistakes made by Tony LaRussa. We would have won many more games had he listened to us. We fellowshipped together along with Mary. we Just enjoyed each other’s company. We have lost a good man, great human being and the dearest of friends. Heaven has gained a man of God. Tho I am sad I rejoice that the Bells of Heaven ring. God bless you Cork and thank you for being a great example to me and all who loved you.

  3. Light a CandleSo sorry to hear of the passing of Henry but rejoicing that he is joining his caring wife Mary and they will spend eternity together in heaven. 4. Dear Gene and Linda, You were the best of neighbors and dearest of friends to both of our parents and continue to be great friends to our family. We could never be able to thank you enough for all you’ve done for them and for us.

  5. Light a CandleAnnette, Sue and Shirla, so sorry to hear of Uncle Corks passing so soon after your Mom! He was such a kind gentle man. Lots of fond memories of holidays and Sunday dinners at Pap & Grandma’s. More recently well actually 2011 Steve and his brothers thought it would be “fun” to harvest corn the old fashioned way on the cob with a 2 row picker on their dad’s 1953 IH Super MTA tractor. You Dad was having a great time helping them work out the issues! Love and prayers to all, Beth & Stephen.
