Irene F. Miller, 100, of Springfield died Thursday, February 21, 2008, in Helia Nursing Home, Springfield. She was born December 21, 1907, in Stonington, the daughter of Fernand and Jesse Ward Gerin. She married Paul Miller, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving is her cousin. Margaret Musselman of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Marie Gerin.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, is in charge of arrangements.
