DIVERNON – J. Sue Clark, 65 of Comanche Village, Divernon passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 10:15 AM at her home.
She was born January 20, 1947 at LaGrange Township, Bond County, IL the daughter of Henry M. and Alvena L. (Harvey) Criner. She married Bernard M. “Bert” Clark on August 21, 1965 at St. Maurice Church in Morrisonville. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sue was employed by the State of Illinois, Office of the Inspector General as a fraud investigator. She had previously worked at the Illinois State Lottery and with Child Support Enforcement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pawnee and St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Kincaid.
Survivors include: Husband, Bernard M. “Bert” Clark of Divernon, IL; 4 sons, Matthew (Tabetha) Clark of Springfield, IL, Timothy (Sara) Clark of Divernon, IL, Nicholas (Glenda) Clark of Edinburg, IL and Samuel (Dee Dee) Clark of Creal Springs, IL; 10 grandchildren; Sisters, Mary Ann (Harold) Hazlett of Morrisonville, IL, Jean Criner of Harrisburg, IL, Karen (Don) Niedeffer of Decatur, IL and Deb (Dave) Mallady of Harrisburg, IL; Brothers, Charles (Kitty) Criner of Salem, IL, Rev. Richard (Gayla) Criner of Centralia, IL and John Dewey Criner of Effingham, IL; Several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Kincaid.
Visitation: 9:00-11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Kincaid.
Inurnment: St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery, Morrisonville.
