James Milford Hall, 85 of Litchfield formerly Sorento passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 at 2:25 A.M. at Heritage Manor in Litchfield. 

He was born December 29, 1923 at Sparkshill, IL the son of the late Nicholas and Melvina (Lane) Hall. He Married Beulah M. Wilson on July 5, 1947 at Cottage Hills. Preceding him im death was a son, James Randall Hall; Brother, Andrew M. Hall; Sisters, Maxine Caveny, Rose May Vinyard and Dora Russell; Grandsons, Corey and Scott Allan Geisler.

Mr. Hall  retired from Owens Illinois Glass on August 28, 1978 after many years of service. He was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and loved to fish and deer hunt.

Survivors: Wife, Beulah M. Hall of Litchfield, IL; Son, Steven (Nauhanna) Hall of Collinsville, IL; Daughters, Patricia Hosfelt of Highland, IL, Debbie (Michael) Grindstaff of Bunker Hill, IL and Lori (David) Nimmons of Litchfield, IL; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Hemann, Stacie (Marvin) Richter, Jimmy Macias (companion, April Robison), Terry (Stephanie) Geisler, Kara Hall, Kayla Hall, Katie Hall, Nicholas Hall, Zachary Hall and Christina Law (companion, Tyler Hornbacl); 4 great grandchildren, Jordan Richter, Brandon Richter, Jacob Macias, and Shelby Geisler; Brother, Ben (Leta) Hall of Worden, IL; Many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 18 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19 at 10:00 A.M. at the Perfetti Funeral Home with th Rev. Bax Maggart officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to TIP Hospice.
