Jim and you were the best neighbors I could have had I read his obituary and didn’t realize Jim and I shared some things during our lives. Three months apart in our birthdays. He married his wife on my birthday. We had polio at the same age, but I was lucky that I could continue my high school education through lessons sent to the hospital. We both enjoyed fishing, him more than me, He worked for AT&T as did my Frank. I know you will miss him. Much love.

Jim

  12. Light a CandleI was so sad when I heard of Jim’s passing! I have so many fond memories growing up in the neighborhood! Sandy was one of my best friends while my brother Jon Rench was best friends with Bob! We were always over at Gpa Shad and Gma Bertha’s playing in Sandy’s cool dollhouse eating snacks or riding bikes over at Pet Milk sampling potato chips or Sego! And later in life we continued to have lots of fun times when Jim and Nell got together and became family and I’ll always remember Jim with fond memories! Keeping Sandy Bob Nell Jan Julie and your families in our hearts and prayers! Love you all Krissy ❤️

  13. So sad to hear of the passing of Jim. Sorry for your loss, Nell, and all the family. We were classmates and friends through grade school and high school. Jim and Nell always came to our Class of 56 reunions. Jim was one of the good guys, always kind and thoughtful of everyone. I remember when he worked for one of the milk home delivery companies in Greenville and helped deliver milk to homes. Early in the morning I would hear the clank of the bottles on the front porch and then I knew Jim was out there in the cold or heat – delivering fresh milk before school. Thanks for the memories, Jim… Rest in peace

  14. Light a CandleWe are so sorry for your loss and send our sincerest condolences. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God wrap His arms around all loved ones and provide them with strength and peace. ✝️

  15. Light a CandleI never met Jim but he must have been a truly great guy to capture Nell for so long. My condolences to Nell and Jim’s many family members and friends.
