James "Moose" Dixon

James W. "Moose" Dixon, 75 of Panama passed away on Friday, January 24,2014 at 11:55 P.M. at Hillsboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on November 7, 1938 at Farmington, IL the son of Percy and Mildred (Toveri) Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Kuhl; brother, Dave Dixon.

Survivors: daughters, Sherry (Mike) Laughlin of Hillsboro, IL, Tammy (Larry) Loskot of Donnellson, IL, and Cindy Dixon of Panama, IL; grandchildren, Abby Laughlin and Chasity Meyers; brother, Charles Dixon of Panama, IL; sister, Virginia "Mick" (George) Loew of Prairietown, IL; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life and dinner will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Panama VFW Post 6628 with Frank Loskot officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Panama.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
