James W. Blount

James W. Blount, 92, of Palmer, IL passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 4:45 PM at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. 

He was born on April 29, 1913 in Christian County the son of James Cleveland and Martha Ann (Johnson) Blount. He married Bernadine M. Donaldson on February 14, 1939 in Missouri; she preceded him in death on January 13, 2001. Also preceding him in death were his parents; Brothers, Robert, Russell and George Blount; Sister, Leotta Yard. 

Mr. Blount was a lifelong farmer, a licensed real estate agent and worked for the ASCS Office. He was a member of Morrisonville First Presbyterian Church and Morrisonville Masonic Lodge. 

Survivors: Sister, Helen Brown of Raymond, IL; Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, May 28 at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28 at 2:00 PM at Moffitt­-Perfetti Funeral

Home, with Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. 

In memory of James Blount memorials may be made to the Morrisonville First Presbyterian Church or Morrisonville Community Ambulance.
