Jeffery Durbin

Jeffrey C. Durbin, 48, of rural Morrisonville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

A memorial service was held Jan. 7, at Perfetti Funeral Home in  Morrisonville with Fr. Gerald Bunse officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date in St. Maurice Cemetery.

Mr. Durbin was born in Taylorville on Feb. 9, 1964, the son of Carl and Patricia (Walz) Durbin. 

A 1982 graduate of Morrisonville High School, he had worked for Dunkirk Farms in Morrisonville for the last 18 years. In his younger years,  he was active at St. Maurice Catholic Church, Morrisonville. 

Mr. Durbin enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents of Morrisonville, he is survived by three children, Jeffrey A. Durbin (companion Ashleigh) of Morrisonville, Jeremey E. Durbin of Riverton, and Lindsey D. Durbin of Vincennes, IN; three grandchildren, Karleigh Durbin and Miley and Carter Metz; one grandchild on the way, Kynsleigh; brother, Gary Durbin (wife Linda) of Taylorville; sister, Kelly Parkin (husband Mike)  of Morrisonville; nephews, Paul Parkin and Blake Durbin; niece, Erin Carter (husband Tom) of Harvel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
