John "Jack" D. Hachenberg

John "Jock" D. Hachenberg, 67, of Danville died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1940, in Taylorville, to Merl and Katherine Phillips-Rich Hachenberg, Jr. He served in the United States Navy. He was a farmer. 

Surviving are his brother; Stan Rich of Springfield; aunts: Victorine Hachenberg of Stonington and Irma Stickney of Hemet, CA; two nieces, one nephew; and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jill. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Shafer Funeral Home in Taylorville, is in charge of arrangements.
