Joseph "Bob" Robert Fleigle

Joseph Robert "Bob" Fleigle 81, of Morrisonville passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 8:50 PM at St. John's Hospice in Springfield. 

He was born February 8, 1927 in Morrisonville the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Martin) Fleigle. He married Virginia Lee Oakley on November 12, 1951 at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Fleigle; Son, Robert Joseph Fleigle; Sister, Ronella Schmedeke; Brothers, Bert, Frank, William, Harold, Wish and Phillip Fleigle. 

Bob was a lifelong farmer in the Morrisonville area. His memberships include St. Maurice Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 1151 both in Morrisonville. 

Survivors: Wife, Virginia L. Fleigle of Morrisonville, IL; Son, John (wife, Sharon) Fleigle of Morrisonville, IL; Daughters, Mary (husband, Bill) Lowis of Morrisonville, IL and Shelia (husband, Brad) Lacey of Pittsfield, IL; 6 Grandchildren, Ryan (Charis) Lowis, Cassie Lowis ( companion, Chad Coady), Nicolas Fleigle, Brett Fleigle, Troy Fleigle and Emily Fleigle; 3 Great Grandchildren, Hallie Lowis, Sydney Lowis and Chase Coady; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Moffitt­-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris J. Comerford officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville. 

In memory of Bob memorials may be made to St. Maurice Catholic Church or Morrisonville Community Ambulance.
