Joseph L. Miller

Joseph Lesley Miller, 88 of Girard, formerly of Springfield passed away at 4:25 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard.

He was born on January 28, 1926 at Taylorville the son of Harold L. and Ione (Shrout) Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, William A. Miller.

Joseph was employed at Goodwill Industries in Springfield for more than 40 years. He attended Calvary Temple in Springfield and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Survivors include: Cousin, Nancy (husband, Glenn) Mullins of Taylorville, IL.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Rev. Marilyn Rauch officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
