Juanita K. Thompson

Juanita Kathleen Thompson, 86 of Union, MO formerly of Taylorville passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 4:30 PM at Cedarcrest Manor in Washington, MO.

She was born November 15, 1924 at Elgin, IL the daughter of Monroe and Eleanor (Cox) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Dorothy Chellew, Lucille Thompson and Barbara Davis.

Juanita worked as a mail teller for Boatman's Bank (now Bank of America) in St. Louis, retiring in 1987 after 44 years of service. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Taylorville.

Survivors: Sister, Virginia (husband, Paul) Carron of Union, MO; Nieces, Linda Kinzell, Joan Smyers, Melinda Davis and Beth Hillman; Nephews, John Carron, Douglas Carron, Keith Carron and Kim Carron.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 11:00 AM at Shafer Perfetti Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
