June Elizabeth Bost

June Elizabeth Bost, 77, of Taylorville, for­merly of Morrisonville, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2003, in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 20, 1925 in Harvel, IL, the son of Arthur Raymond and Lizzie Fern Rathgeber – Billiter. She married Marvin S. Bost on March 1, 1945 in Morrisonville United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.  She was a a lifetime member of Morrisonville United Methodist Church and a 1942 gradu­ate of Morrisonville High School.

Surviving are her son. Eric Bost of Taylorville: daughter, Marla Bost (husband Tim Lyerla) of Taylorville: daughter-in-law. Rita (husband Robert) Greenwood of Morrisonville: grandchildren: Tracy Wyant, Colleen Bost, Kristine Larson, Gretchen Ray, Linda Ryan, Travis Wyant, Amy Wyant: great­grandchildren: John Ray, Audra Lyerla. Zachary Lyerla and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,  Marvin on June 1, 1999;  son, Larry Bost; brother, Merle Billiter and sisters, Wanda Mooney and Arta Pearson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, in Morrisonville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Phillip Icenogle officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9 in Moffitt-Perfetti
