Katherine Elizabeth Wefenstette

Katherine Elizabeth Wefenstette, 75, of Taylorville, formerly of Morrisonville, died at 8 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2000 in Boswell Hospital in Sun City, AZ.

She was born November 3, 1924 at Auburn, the daughter of Earl and Nellie Williamson Sharp. she married Ralph J. Wefenstette November 23, 1953 in Pawnee Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Morrisonville. Mrs. Wefenstette attended Brown’s Business College and was a member of the United Methodist Women, Christian County Home Bureau and was a 1942 graduate of Auburn High School.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph; two daughters, Sylvia Marie Hill and husband, Todd of Springfield and Sandra Elizabeth Thornton and husband, Greg Cravins of Williamsville and one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, at the united Methodist Church of Morrisonville with Rev. David Glahn officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery
