Kathryn "Kathy" Diane Lynch

Kathryn "Kathy" Diane Lynch, 63, of Sorento passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at 6:20 AM at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.

She was born September 18, 1943 in Hardin, Illinois he daughter of Purl and Zola (Funk) Smit. She married David E. Lynch on March 26, 1965 at Hamburg, IL. Preceding her in death were her parents, so, David Wayne Lynch, sister, Betty Lou Smith and a brother, Laverne Funk.

Mrs. Lynch was a bottle inspector at Owens Illinois Glass in Alton for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton and the Shoal Creek Firefighters Auxiliary.

Survivors: Husband, David E. Lynch of Sorento, IL; daughter, Davina (husband, Darrell) Pagan and Suzette Williams both of Sorento, IL; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; brothers, George Smith and Roger Smith both of Hamburg, IL; Bobby Smith of Kampsville, IL and Billy Smith of Oklahoma; sisters, Belva Sports of Michigan, Rosie Weder of Jacksonville, IL and Susan Anderson and Margaret Pike both of Loami, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 14 from 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Mar's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Walther officiating.

Additional services: Friends may call Friday, March 16 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 16 at 7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento.
