Graveside services for Larry L. Allen, 65, of Hillsboro are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Cemetery in Reno. Military honors will be conducted. The Perfetti Funeral Home of Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at 11:03 a.m. at his residence. He was born on June 24, 1948, in Sorento to Robert C. and Genevieve L. (Hubbard) Allen.
A union laborer, he belonged to Labor Local 397. An Army veteran, he attended the Panama Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Clinton (wife Jennifer) Allen of Taylor Springs; two grandsons, Cole and Caleb Allen; one sister, Rita (husband Richard) Hosto of Greenville; two brothers, Robert (wife Judy) Allen of Panama and Ronnie (wife Linda) Allen of Sorento; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Clayton Allen, and three nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activity Department.
