Laura Belle Chlebus

Laura Belle Chlebus, 85, of Taylorville, IL formerly of Tovey, IL passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Taylorville Care Center. 

Laura was born January 20, 1932 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Elba and Myrtle (Knauff) Christian.  She married Joseph Michael Chlebus on April 3, 1948 and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Regina Hughes and Teresa Szkutnik; brother, Donald Christian; and sister, Marilyn Christian.  

Laura is survived by her son Joseph (wife, Paula) Chlebus of Taylorville, IL; daughter Maralyn (husband, Jim) Cavatorta of Tovey, IL; along with six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. 

Private ceremonies will be held, with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.
