Leonard L. (Vern) Worrell

Leonard L. (Vern) Worrell, 80 of Perth, Ontario, Canada passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 at a hospital in Perth. 

He was born on December 31, 1926 the son of the late Leonard and Mary Worrell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Rickard) Worrell on December 26, 1993. 

Mr. Worrell worked at Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis, MO and in Perth and .Alexandria, Ontario as an office manager until his retirement. He was a World War II veteran , member of Branch #244 Perth Legion and the last original member of the Island Duck Hunt Club. 

Survivors: Daughter, Mary Frances (John) Kesot of Plainfield, IL; Grandchildren, John and Darlene Kesot of Plainfield, IL; Brother, Donald (Shirley) Worrell of Bethalto, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 :00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
