Leroy Daniel Allen Smith, 3, of Stonington, walked Hand in Hand with his Grandmother, Nona , on July 22, 2007 at 11: 18 a.m. at Barnes Children Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. He was born May 27, 2004 in Decatur. Leroy was a member of Joy Assembly Church, Stonington and Bethel Bible in Decatur. 

He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Diane VanScyoc, Stonington, Father , David Wayne Smith, Stonington. Sister: Zanteria La(Kay) Smith, Stonington. Grandparents Tammy & Greg Smith, Stonington, Ron & Tonia VanScyoc, Decatur. Great Grandparents Alberta Smith, Stonington, and Barbara Haas, Indianapolis, Ind. Best Friend and Cousin Breezie Smith, Stonington. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. 

He was preceded by his Aunt Shirley Smith, Great Grandfather Raymond VanScyoc, Great Grandmother Nona VanScyoc. 

Leroy Daniel was an Organ Donor. 

Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2007 from 10:00 - 11 :00 A.M. at Joy Assembly Church, Stonington, Ill. Funeral will be Monday, July 30 at 11:00 A.M at Joy Assembly Church, Stonington with Pastor Jack Greenwood officiating. 

Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, Ill.
