Lloyd Max Ketchem, 77, of Sorento, IL passed away Friday, October 1, 2004 at 12:55 AM at his home. 

He was born April 14, 1927 in Epsom, Indiana the son of Joseph and Mary (McMullen) Ketchem. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 Brothers and 3 Sisters. 
Mr. Ketchem worked as a Signal Maintainer for the CB & Q Railroad which became the Burlington Northern Railroad and is now known as the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railroad. He retired after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood Of Railroad Signalmen, Panama VFW Post 6628 and a veteran of the US Marine Corps. 

Survivors: Sons, Rex Ketchem of Paxton, IL, Robert (wife, Lisa) Ketchem of Smithboro, IL and Joseph (wife, Kami) Ketchem of Tolono, IL; Daughter, Susi (husband, Tony) Tebbi of St. Rose, IL; 7 Grandchildren, Heather Glover, Michael Ketchem, Jamie (Robin) Tebbi, Carmen Tebbi, Nathan Ketchem, Connor Ketchem and Jaret Ketchem; 1 Great Grandchild, Drew Tebbi; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, October 4 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 5 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento, with Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento. 

Memorials may be made to Bond County Hospice or Panama VFW Post 6628.
