Loren Huddleston

Funeral services for Loren Dean Huddleston, 59, of Vandalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Panama United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Panama. The Rev. Dave Trover and the Rev. Randy Sands will officiate.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Perfetti Funeral Home, Panama.

Mr. Huddleston died at 2 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at his home.

He was born Jan. 5, 1950, at Litchfield, son of the late William L. and Betty J. (Dixon) Huddleston. He was a supervisor in the gas department of AmerenIP for 29 years before his retirement.

Mr. Huddleston and Jeanette Grisham married March 28, 1970, at the Assembly of God Church, Sorento, and she survives.

He leaves two daughters, Lisa (husband Danny) Melton of Mulberry Grove and Jayma (husband Shawn) Shrum of Granite City; five grandchildren, Madison, Dakota, Trey, Troy and Raegan; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Panama United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.
