Loretta Jeannette McGill

Loretta Jeannette McGill, 74, of Panama passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 10:00 PM at her home. 

She was born January 4, 1934 in Sorento to the late Lloyd and Blanche Irene (Spengeman) Saathoff. She was married 45 years ago in Greenville to Darrell M. McGill. Preceding her in death was a brother Lloyd Carl Saathoff and a sister, Brenda Kimbro. 

Mrs. McGill was a homemaker and a member of Royal Neighbors. 

Survivors: Husband, Darrell McGill of Panama, IL; Sons, Dwayne McGill and Keith (Sonya) McGill both of Piedmont, AL; Daughters, Jeanne (Darrell) Hockett of Piedmont, AL, Carol (Gene) McCario of Panama, IL, Judy Spensberger of Citrus Springs, FL, Kyra Seefeldt of Alberta, Canada and Kim (David) LeGate of Panama, IL; 21 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Dan (Theresa) Saathoff of Panama, IL; Sisters, Vina (Elmer) Houchlei of Sorento, IL and Gail Hancock of Hillsboro, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 19 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19 at 11:00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. 

In memory of Jeanette memorials may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation.
