Margaret C. Goldman

Margaret C. Goldman, 90, of Taylorville died Wednesday, January 7, 2004, in Heritage Manor, Springfield.

She was born June 9, 1913, in Taylorville, the daughter of John and Catherine (Michels) Fust. She married William Goldman. She along with her husband managed a Sangamon Company Cafeteria until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughters: Dorene (husband Robert “Butch”) Ramelow of Rochester and Mary Kay (husband Brent) Mitchell of Terra Haute, IN; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; daughter, Janice Beiermann; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, in St. Mary’s Cathodic Church, with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services in the church. Shafer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
