Margaret R. "Maggie" Boarman

Margaret R. "Maggie" Boarman, 76 of Taylorville formerly of Nokomis passed away at 12:45 AM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Life's Journey in Taylorville.

She was born on February 22, 1939 at Taylorville the daughter of Darrell D. and Anna C. (Hoover) Hamell. Maggie married Ed Boarman on June 9, 1962 at Taylorville; he preceded her in death on February 13, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Bill Hamell, Robert Hamell, Darrell Hamell and Allen Hamell; Sisters, Susie Hamell, Louverda Cavatorta and Patty Hamell.

Maggie was a homemaker.

Survivors include: Daughters, Jill (husband, Kirk) Scholes and Beth Chausse both of Nokomis, IL; 6 Grandchildren, Kyle Scholes, Abby (Curtis) Kirk, Kelsey Chausse, Blake Chausse, Austin Chausse and Megan Chausse; Sisters, Joyce Brodien of Hudsonville, MI, Beverly Sunderland of Xenia, IL and Debbie Hamell of Florida; Brothers, Ricci (wife, Lisa) Hamell and Tim Hamell both of Taylorville, IL and Terry Hamell of Arizona; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Nazarene in Taylorville with Pastor Myron Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the Church of the Nazarene.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Memorial Medical Center Foundation, Attn: Sharing Wishes Fund.
